It's a Monday afternoon in beautiful Wasilla and most of the adults in District 27 are being productive at work. Not David Eastman. He's been working the phones trying to drum up support for an insurrection on the capital in order to block the election certification and prevent his own ouster. Eastman has been proudly sort of representing his district since 2017 until a surprise defeat earlier this month where he lost to political newcomer, Jubilee Underwood.

"I just don't understand why anyone would challenge me. I mean, I'm a Republican! My nickname in Juneau is The Ruiner and I wear that title with honor," he shrieked. "My supporters don't expect me to just roll over and die so I have been trying to work with some of our state's thought leaders like Dustin Darden, Cathy Giessel and the FBI. None of them are returning my texts but I got a fax from the FBI that said, 'b sure to keep us in da loop'."

Eastman has a long history of refusing to cooperate with anyone at all and has worked to block numerous high-profile bills, including bills the conservative wing of his party supports.

He said since vacations are unconstitutional, he has millions of Alaska Airlines miles saved up in his account and he's offering to fly anyone...literally anyone, for free to Juneau to risk going to prison - or worse, get a stern talking to from Bert Stedman - in order to "save democracy".

Anyone interested in a free vacation to Southeast in December can contact the former representative through his website: www.davideastman.org
