Dr. Daniel Volland, candidate for Anchorage Assembly has decided the time is right to come out as straight, hoping to pull more support from moderate voters in his district. In a move that some are calling a "betrayal" to his previously professed liberal values, Volland has hit back saying "Remember, I'm the good Daniel in this race!"

Volland's challenger, Daniel George is an Independant candidate that actually knows what he's doing and has garnered support from across the political spectrum with endorsements from Don Young, Mary Peltola, Chuck Schumer and Ron Desantis.

Volland's endorsements include Ethan Berkowitz, Saul Alinsky, Justin Trudeau and Meg Zaletel among others.

The race for the D1 seat is shaping up to be a showdown among the other yawn inducing races.

Many left leaning voters are still upset at Volland for his rezoning debacle when he tried to bulldoze all single-family homes and replace them with 3D printed skyscrapers, blocking the sun from people's gardens.
